ACLU Community Event to Discuss Proposition 36 and Mass Incarceration
Dear Friends and ACLU Supporters,
Proposition 36 is in the ballot of the upcoming election in November 2024. You are cordially invited to join us on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 at 6:30pm at the Dr. Roberto Cruz Alum Rock Branch Library to learn from Raymond Goins, our guest speaker from the Silicon Valley De-Bug, as well as chapter leaders about the harms of Proposition 36, how it will lead to mass incarceration, and why we oppose Proposition 36. You will also get a chance to meet ACLU chapter leaders and fellow community members.
Date: Wednesday, September 25th, 2024
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm PDT (Doors open at 6:30pm. Program begins at 7:00pm.)

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided! This event is wheelchair accessible. There is a parking lot on site and some street parking is available on nearby side streets.
All attendees are encouraged to properly wear a mask (covering the nose and mouth), regardless of vaccination status, while in all indoor spaces. Masks will be available. If you are experiencing any respiratory virus symptoms (such as fever, cough, sore throat) on the day of the event, please stay home.
