ACLU-NC Webinar: Vote for DA House Party training

This Webinar is organized by the ACLU of Northern California.

Our criminal justice system in California is all too often unjust, violent, and racially discriminatory, and district attorneys (DAs) are part of the problem. Local elections matter and this year the ACLU of California is hosting a Webinar to help voters learn about the candidates for DA.

On June 5, people in over 50 counties, including the Santa Clara County, will elect their district attorneys. Who we vote for will have enormous consequences for the future of our state. As their county's top prosecutors, DAs make daily decisions that impact the lives of millions. They choose who gets charged for what crime, and incarcerated for how long.
