What can I do to help the ACLU?
Thank you very much for your interest in helping the ACLU. There are many ways in which you can help to support and defend civil liberties.
You can sign up to volunteer for the ACLU of Northern California. These volunteer activities include, but are not limited to, organizing or attending a community event, donating or fundraising, offering your service as a cooperating attorney, being a volunteer or intern in the San Francisco office of the ACLU of Northern California, or being a volunteer in the local chapter of the ACLU.
You can read this page to explore how you can get involved with the ACLU of Northern California.
You can stay informed by signing up for ACLU updates and subscribing to the mailing list of the Santa Clara Valley chapter. As opportunity arises, the ACLU will notify you of any Action Alerts such as signing petitions to our elected officials, and calling or writing to our elected officials on particular issues.
You can join the ACLU by becoming a member.
You can help by being our eyes and ears in the community, reporting violations in civil rights and civil liberties or sharing concerns about such matters with your local chapter.
If you or your friends would like a Know Your Rights workshop from the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the ACLU, please contact us.
You can spread the words and let your family and friends know about the national ACLU, the ACLU of Northern California, and the Santa Clara Valley chapter of the ACLU.
Last but certainly not the least, please let us know if you can assist in any other way.
We greatly appreciate your help and support, and we look forward to working with you.
